Lesley formed the agency in 1980. Her experience prior to that included national magazines, both consumer and trade, and global advertising and pr agencies, with several major consumer brands as key clients. One of her objectives in setting up Harmer PR was to have the freedom to be selective about her client list.

Previous experience: Elliot worked for seven years as a
journalist, becoming editor for a range
of consumer and B2B titles, including magazines for CNN, InterContinental
Hotels, Holmes Place health clubs and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He
made the transition to PR at the end of 2004. While at the press and media
office at ChildLine, he secured interviews for senior staff and
patrons on BBC TV and radio, including Newsround, Newsnight and the Today
programme, as well as local and national press and broadcast media. He joined Harmer PR in 2005,
